Find Out More

We’d love to hear from you, so please do get in touch or come down to see us at one of our Monday afternoon open days.

In the meantime you might find an answer to your question here…

All you need is a pair of flat shoes. We’ll lend you some woods to use until you have your own set.

Bowls is one of those sports that takes no time to learn, although mastering it is another thing altogether! We’re here to show you the ropes and there is even free coaching available on request.

Absolutely! During the season the green is available on a turn up and play basis anytime a match is not being played, between 12:00 and dusk weekdays and 10:00 a.m.
and dusk weekends. Chances are you’ll often find other members looking for a roll up!

Yes. Like other sports, when we play against other clubs, we wear our club strip, which is a white polo shirt and depending on the fixture, either white or grey trousers/skirts/shorts.

Bowls is as competitive as you want it to be. It is a great way to make new friends and socialise, however if you enjoy competition, our internal competitions and the Mid-Sussex League should be right up your street!

Not bowls related, but definitely a frequently asked question! Our bar is always open for matches, social events and club nights. In our kitchen you’ll also find teas and coffees and a variety of ice creams.
