Established in 1925, Crawley Town Bowls Club is a long established community bowls club.
We pride ourselves on being a welcoming club where bowlers of all ability levels will find plenty of opportunities to play casually and in friendly and league matches & competitions.
Unless matches are being played, members are free to play between 12:00 and dusk weekdays and 10:00 a.m. and dusk at weekends. Monday is our club day between 15:00 and dusk, giving members the opportunity to socialise and play. We also welcome non-members to come along and have a go.
Playing members are eligible to bowl in all matches and competitions. The current fee is £100 per season, which can be paid either as lump sum or by 5 monthly instalments of £20.
There is an additional match fee of £2 for friendly matches to cover refreshments.
Social member are eligible to play in Monday afternoon roll ups and club fun days. The current fee is £25 per season.
Our six rink green is lovingly maintained by an expert groundkeeper, whose hard work has resulted in an excellent playing surface which is a pleasure to play on and regularly receives compliments from visiting players.
The green also benefits from an automatic watering system and fox-proof fencing, which may sound obscure, but was nonetheless the only way we could stop our furry friends from using it for digging practice!
